Vita: Katalin Fabian earned her university diploma from the University of Economics in Budapest, Hungary. After finishing her studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, she obtained a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. She has held research positions at the Five College Women’s Studies Research Center in Mt. Holyoke, MA and at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC.
Teaching Interests: international and comparative politics focusing on European integration; international conflicts and their resolutions; transnational social movements
Research Interests: how women and their organizations participate in the new democracies of postcommunist countries
